Laura talks about how she would like Dylan to get to know his father.

Laura feels estranged, as she is living 5 hours away from her family in North Wales. Further she is living without any support from Dylan's father though ideally she would like this to change. The baby's father is a friend who Laura slept with, which was a big mistake. He has made no effort to contact her since and the pregnancy ruined her friendship with him. Laura hopes that this may change in the future. Initially he told everyone that Dylan was not his. Laura says that 'she is not the type of girl who sleeps around.' She says that she will keep on trying to change the father's mind for Dylan's sake.
