HRH The Duke of Edinburgh is installed as Chancellor of the University of Wales at Bangor.

This clip from May 1949 features HRH The Duke of Edinburgh being installed as Chancellor of the University of Wales at Bangor. He is joined by the future Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Clement Attlee. A portion of the day's presentations were made in Welsh and the Duke presented an honorary degree to Princess Elizabeth.
