A fun, sexy, housewife, but first and foremost Vanessa is a survivor, she's had to be. Married twice before, She's now married to Will James and reunited with Desiree, her daughter from her disastrous first marriage.
Highs and lows
She stole Will from Barbara and found out her ex-husband still lusts after her too.
Her daughter Desiree - who does the occasional stint in jail - insisted on finding her father, much to Vanessa's dismay. But she reignited the flame with him and Will found out.
Discovering that Dai hit Wendy too - she'd always thought he hadn't hurt Wendy and thought the abuse was somehow her fault.
