Welsh photographer Terry Morris is best known for his celebrity portraiture work and the Cool Cymru collection, which features some of the most famous modern stars to have come from Wales.
Born and raised in Llanelli, Terry Morris cut his teeth as a photographer in the late 1990s working freelance in the media industry.
In 2006 he exhibited his collection Cool Cymru at the Wales Millennium Centre - the first exhibition to feature in the iconic building in Cardiff Bay. Cool Cymru featured, to name a few, Charlotte Church, Bryn Terfel, Rhys Ifans, Joe Calzaghe, Ryan Giggs, Dame Shirley Bassey and Ioan Gruffudd.
The Cool Cymru collection resulted in a book and documentary that further raised Morris' profile and he has gone on to photograph celebrities such as Sir Anthony Hopkins, Matthew Rhys, Dave Richards and former First Minister Rhodri Morgan.
In February 2010 Morris received an international accolade as it was announced that his emotive photograph of miner Thomas Davies called End of Shift was set to be published in the book Best of Worldwide Photographic Artists by US publishers Kennedy.
Morris is currently working on a commission for the Sports Council of Wales, photographing iconic athletes and their coaches.
He is also a fervent campaigner for a national portrait gallery for Wales.
