(nb this is translation not transcript) DANIEL: Going to a different direction, I don't know, are you acquainted Marged Jones . . . Mam went to 'ysgol 'r'Egwlys', (Church School), and the education was all in English of course, and then they'd sing an old rhyming song to learn the words, erm, to learn the letters of the alphabet - the consonants and the vowels, erm, and, there were 20 verses in all of course, being that there was one for every consonant, erm . . . B, A, Ba; B, E Be, B, I, Bi the Bi; B, I Bi, of the Bi Bo Bu, of the Bu, of the Bi Bo Bu, A, E, I, O, U. . . . then we, going on then to C, S, A; C, E, C . . . and through all the vowels, until they'd come to Z isn't it? Then we'd have a lot of fun when we'd go to: P, A, Pa; P, E, Pee; P, I, Pi . . .
