Title: Jemima - a power-full voice

Jemima is a schoolgirl with the same loves in life as so many others.

Her heart-throb Alan Shearer plays for the best team in the world – Newcastle United - her favourite read is Harry Potter and her pet cat and hamster always make her smile.

However, Jemima has cerebral palsy, is profoundly deaf, and cannot talk.

Her gateway of communication to her outside world is her Dynavox computer.

By a series of commands, that she has now mastered, she can audibly communicate with anyone. It takes great time and effort, but her voice is now heard.

This is her film showing what expression can be achieved – she tells us about her daily life.
