Welcome to the Christmas series and today we are making another Christmas gift for kids, and these are the special North Pole Bath Fizzers.
And in a few simple steps you can make your own fizzy bath bombs that children love.
Simply add baking soda, citric acid, cornflour, Epsom salts, and some coconut oil to a bowl with a dash of water and some food colouring.
And then squash it into a lovely silicone mould and gently press it out - they can crack if you go too heavy-handed.
Pop them in a jar, and done! Beautiful bath fizzers, perfect for any bath - watch that fizz!
You will need
1 cup of baking powder
1/2 cup of citric acid
1/2 cup of cornflour
2-3 tbsp coconut oil
A few drops of food colouring
Silicone moulds
Method
1. Mix together baking powder, citric acid and cornflour and stir.
2. Then mix coconut oil, water, and food colouring in a separate bowl.
3. Slowly combine the two mixtures by drizzling the wet ingredients into the dry. If it fizzes, slow down!
4. Press the mixture into Christmassy silicone moulds. Overfill slightly and press hard.
5. Place the silicone moulds into the freezer until the mixture has hardened or let dry in a cool place for 24 hours.
6. Gently, remove the bath fizzers from the moulds.
7. Seal them in a jar with a festive label attached.
