A tissue box guitar is great fun for your little rock star! Try making one with a kitchen roll tube neck and rubber band strings.

When you pluck the strings with your toddler, say words like 'pull' or 'twang'.

Make sure you closely supervise your toddler as you play and take care of pinging or snapping elastic bands. Make sure that scissors are kept out of reach of children.

Cut small slots all around one end of a kitchen roll tube. Make sure you keep scissors away from tiny hands!

Fold down the little tabs you've made and attach to one end of the empty tissue box. If you haven't done so, remove the tissue box opening.
