Hello, my name is Keyur and this is my wife, Priyanka. We have two children, Kiva and Yash. That means "why are you looking at me?"I know! We live in a joint family with Mum, Dad, my brother and his wife.

The language which is warmer and more relatable with the children is Gujarati. When I was pregnant, I spoke with my bump in Gujarati. Since I did not find out the gender, I would say "what are you inside?" Are you a boy or a girl? "Kyare ave che?", when are you coming? And you know, "when do we get to meet you?". Even Kiva spoke to the bump.

Yeah, Kiva used to speak to the bump as well.

She used to come and hug me and say hello!

There are many medical studies that kids who are bilingual, speaks more than one language or more than two languages, have a better active brain because your brain is constantly learning new things.

The way we speak to Yash is an excitement tone, it's sing-songy. It's a great relationship because you're so emotionally attached to your little one at that time because you can see that he is responding. And yeah, so it's special.
Priyanka and Keyur are already introducing their newborn baby to Gujarati.
And their whole family are joining in too, including their daughter.
