Adam and Hannah live in Liverpool and are welcoming Scarlotte into their family. They also have a one-year-old son named Joseph.
Hannah is a qualified primary school teacher, but she lost her job due to the coronavirus pandemic and struggles with the lack of routine being a stay-at-home mum. She jokes that she ‘feels like a 50s housewife’ as she is not currently bringing in an income.
Adam is a secondary school teacher. He is very open about the lack of support for dads and explains that he had to take his first day off sick after the birth of his son as he just ‘couldn’t get his head off the pillow’. Adam feels that men need more encouragement to speak about their mental health and how it may affect new parents.
We learnt so much from our firstborn, Joseph, that we’ve been able to use some of these techniques this time around. We have also learnt what not to do in certain situations, which is equally as important.
Scarlotte was born on 5 January 2021. Hear more from the family after their appearance on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on Radio 2.

Joseph just loves having his new sister around and really enjoys going to the park, running around in the mud and jumping in puddles! Joseph is adapting well to Scarlotte being a part of their happy little family.
The couple openly admit they did not have a clue what to do with their firstborn and felt scared at the thought of the change in their life. However, they’re much more confident this time around and are excited to see how Joseph and Scarlotte will bond over the years ahead.
We’re really excited to be a part of Tiny Happy People Families because we’re eager to learn more about our baby’s language development and to help other parents through these tough / wonderful times.
