I once danced with a group of naked Brazilian girls on a live, late-night Italian TV show which I thought no-one was watching. I was wrong

I’m just too caring

I once had a punch up with Eric Clapton and Sting

Most embarrassing on air incident:

With live speech radio every disaster or embarrassment is a ‘phone in topic

Weirdest place you spent the night: 

In a field on a very drunken night out whilst a teenager - disgraceful

First record bought:

Showaddywaddy’s 3 Steps to Heaven from the old Co-op in Luton.

My first car:

Opel Mantra 1.9SR automatic – it was silver with red velour interior – great looking car but very, very thirsty

My favourite place in Beds, Herts and Bucks:

Tough one this because we’re blessed with so many distinctive locations in our region but I would probably say Bedford embankment on a warm summer evening – simply stunning!

Desert island luxury:

A 5 star hotel – I don’t do back-packs, tents or places without a 3 pin plug

My hero:

No heroes but I am always in awe of some of our listeners with their amazing stories

Would hate to be in the Big Brother house with:

Anybody like the real Big Brother contestants!

Favourite item in my wardrobe:

My dark blue and dark black Armani jeans – they do make my bum look a tad smaller

If I wasn't at BBC Three Counties Radio I'd be:

Hanging around outside the front door staging a one-man protest to get back on air

My dream co-presenter would have been:

Kenny Everett

Realised I was getting old when:

I noticed wispy grey hairs were growing out of my nostrils and on my ear lobes. It’s a bad sign
