Then you need to book a slot at the BBC Introducing session at The Fringe! As part of the BBC Tees workshops, happening during The Fringe Festival at Stockton Riverside, a panel of three music experts from the Teesside area will be on hand to offer local talent some advice and encouragement to make it big. The session will be held on Thursday 30, July 3pm - 4.30pm at the Georgian Theatre in Stockton. The aim is to offer budding bands and musicians the chance to find out more about the music industry, as well as ask their questions to the men in the know, and meet other bands in the same boat as them. The panelKingsley, from The Chapman Family - fresh from Glastonbury and a headlining band at The Stockton Fringe festival. Kingsley will be sharing his pearls of wisdom about the joy and hard work of being in a band. Our very own Bob Fischer, from BBC Tees - will be there to give first hand advice on how to get your tracks on air, and innovative ideas to try. Paul Burns, known as the music guru, from Tees Music Alliance - will be explaining how to take your unsigned band to the next level. He knows the hard knocks most bands face but also knows the best way to tackle it all. David Macmillan, BBC Introducing representative - will lead the session.
