Remembering ICI

For years it has dominated the Teesside skyline, put the area on the map and gave thousands of people a job for life.

But soon the famous logo is expected to disappear for good after the firm goes through the process of being taken over.

Former ICI employees from around the world have been getting in touch with BBC Tees to share their memories.

ICI has a large archive of films that were made on Teesside, which are a diverse collection, from films on chemical processes to ICI's sports day in Billingham.
