BBC Tees are is looking for people between the ages of 16 and 19 to take part in a Young Reporter Scheme to work alongside our website.

Successful applicants will be given an eight week unpaid work experience placement, giving them the opportunity to learn more about the BBC and expand upon their writing and reporting skills.

The reporters will work closely with the BBC Tees team and they’ll be required to work on a part –time basis between July and September 2005.

The young reporters will be responsible for maintaining a Blast section on their local website and will provide weekly updates on any aspect of the Arts within their area.

We are looking for reporters aged between 16 - 19 from a wide range of local backgrounds, who feel passionate about the Arts whether it be Hip Hop or Hockney, Bollywood or Ballet.
