Male wearing glasses: As far as proof reading goes, it's probably best if can get somebody else actually to read it, proof read what you've done because they might pick up something that you've missed.
Male wearing suit: Most people will have a spell checker which is flagging up whether a word is spelt correctly or incorrectly, but it won't tell you is whether the context is correct.
Male in grey jumper: What I tend to do is write my emails out, at the end of the email I tend to sort of glaze back over it and proof read everything that I've written.
Female with dark hair: If I send an email and it sounds bad or the grammar is bad, then well it doesn't look very professional and how can they trust then us with their business if we can't even send a simple email without any mistakes?
Male in dark suit: We wouldn't want to send this to the printer and have ten thousand leaflets printed with mistakes in them.
So what we'll do is, we'll make sure that the spelling is all correct, that the punctuation is in the right place and that the copy makes sense.
Being able to proofread is useful in helping you to spot and correct any mistakes in your writing. You can then edit the writing after you've finished proofreading.
