Terrific Scientific Forces - Live Lesson

How do forces affect my speed?

This Live Lesson explores different forces including air resistance and friction, and is presented by Naomi Wilkinson, Ben Shires and science expert Greg Foot.

Aimed at upper KS2/2nd Level science pupils, this programme is designed to work alongside the BBC's Terrific Scientific forces investigation, exploring how forces affect speed, whilst building on pupils' understanding of forces in action.

For more information about all the investigations in this UK wide primary science initiative, go to the Terrific Scientific website.

This edited programme was first streamed live to schools in September 2017. Please note that we are no longer reviewing emails and messages from schools for inclusion on the page.
