Two young German bloggers introduce themselves through a vlog titled “Things We Hate.”
One starts by claiming that they hate it when people do not text them back even though they have clearly read it.
The next explains how she wants to look nice for her friend’s birthday event and so does her makeup but halfway through she always sneezes and it ruins her makeup.
Another thing that they hate is when people have used up all the toilet paper without replacing it and, finally, when people wear the same clothes all the time.

Teacher Notes
This could be used to introduce the concept of conjunctions – i.e. words that can be used to join sentences together.
It could be used to discuss and compare conjunctions. What do conjunctions do?
What is the difference between co-ordinating and subordinating conjunctions?
Students could be asked to look at the difference in word order when using different types of conjunctions.
