Teacher Notes

Could be used as a starting point for a three-dimensional ceramic project.

Students could research the craft potter Louise Thompson and the processes she applies to her work.

They could then explore some of these in their own pottery, for example using a potter’s wheel, hand building techniques and experimenting with glazes.

This clip will be relevant for teaching art and design at KS3 and GCSE in England, Wales and Northern Ireland and National 4 and 5 in Scotland.
