A Story Telling Disaster by Zeynep K.

In a classroom far away, there was a board. His name was Barry. Barry the Board was unpredictable. Sometimes he wouldn't show a page of writing our teacher wanted to show us. Now, if you still don't know how unpredictable Barry was, well think of a person who says, "I'm going to bring a jam sandwich." and then they bring a ham sandwich! That's how unpredictable Barry was.

One gloomy weekend, Barry was chatting to his best friend, Terry Table when he announced, "I'm going to enter a storytelling competition! "First, I need to get of this wall "declared Barry. "Well, let me help "mumbled Terry. Terry pulled and pulled and pop! Barry jumped off the wall. He sneakily tiptoed across the playground, looking at every step… It was so cold that he could see his breath! "Terry, go back to the classroom!" whispered Barry as loud as he could. "No!" replied Terry. "I mean it!". "Fine" groaned Barry. Barry and Terry gingerly climbed over the wooden fence. They walked down to a library. "On the poster it said it was in the library" murmured Terry. Their searching was interrupted by a deafening roar. "I'm looking for Barry and Terry!" a man said on the loudspeaker. "That's us!" gasped Barry. They sprinted towards the ladder. The helicopter flew over the rooftops of London and landed at a rocket. "Get on" beckoned the man. "Preparing for take-off." "Ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one, blast off!"

People were looking strangely at Barry and Terry. Their competition was in the air! Barry and Terry eagerly went to the library. Barry was up last. As soon as Barry walked up on stage any confidence, he had left melted away like ice cream. He ran off the stage. Terry was dragged on the stage. "You can do it" whispered Terry. Barry felt a fresh wave of confidence and told his story.

They came back down to earth and was driven back. Carefully, they tiptoed across the playground. Barry and Terry went back to their spot. The teacher walked in. "That's weird" I could of sworn the table and board was missing. "The teacher walked out of the classroom. Where will Barry go next?
