More reasons to watch Morrison

If you're considering travelling in to London this summer for some hip concert, think again. High Lodge, Thetford Forest is the place to be seen.

Well organised with expert precision, this is the place to take in your favourite artists.

Rush to see the support

Rushmore, supporting James Morrison in the first of 2007's concerts in the Suffolk forest, are an up and coming band led by brothers Neil and Ed Ormandy.

Their acoustic sound is reminiscent of that of the west coast of the States. Influenced by The Eagles and Simon & Garfunkel, they certainly know how to perform.

Their material is written by themselves and produced by none other than Craig Silvey of Magic Numbers fame, who spotted them busking in London and snapped the boys up. They have been together for five years and have been signed to Mercury Records for the past 12 months.

Last Chance is a catchy number that will leave you singing it all day, and the acoustic arrangement on Bright Side of Me is so good you can't help but like it.

These young men remind me of a 21st Century version of the Beatles and look what happened to them.

The main act

James Morrison, an apparently unremarkable person back stage, easily mistaken for a roadie, was a different proposition when he hit the stage.

Looking like a rock star and sounding like a soul star, this venue fits his voice like a glove.

He takes to the stage without the hype that others in the business insist on and is welcomed by a crowd of 6000 like a son coming home.

He launches into his set before taking a breather to admire the surroundings and making one 11-year-old girl very happy by wishing her a happy birthday.

His performance of You Give Me Something makes you feel like he is singing it to you and only you.

An intimate venue with a very special intimate man. Give me more.

If you can only see one concert this summer, see James Morrison!. He is a crowd pleaser and his music Rocks!. I can personally say that James does more than his best to make sure everyone is happy!. I have seen him 4 times so far and have another 4 booked up!. I am personally looking forward to the Liverpool Pops! and the Tower of London events!. Also James has currently got two support acts with him on his tour, one called Sam Beeton and the other called Rushmore, both have catchy tunes and leave you wanting more!. Excellent time guaranteed!

I think this guy has arrived in the wrong decade, If he had 'happened' 20 yrs ago he would have made a splash for he does have good soulful voice that has warmth and character. Sadly we live in a time of too much of everything and hes just another voice out there..sad for he deserves more but...if he can crack america I think he stands a chance of surviving beyond that dreaded 2nd album that is no mans land.
