The BBC is taking part in a massive, country-wide survey to find out exactly which birds visit our gardens. ![]() BBC Radio Suffolk's Rachel Sloane, Rob Dunger, Norman Lloyd and Graham Barnard, along with Karen Hare and Julia Griggs from Suffolk Action, were giving away 200 bird boxes at the Tower Ramparts Shopping Centre in Ipswich on Saturday 17th February 2007. The freebies were snapped up by enthusiastic twitchers within a mere one hour! Our team and Alton Wildlife were on hand to assemble the boxes. ![]() Queues at Tower Ramparts Shopping Centre Don't forget to register!Once you've set your box up in your garden, you need to register with the Thetford-based British Trust for Ornithology by visiting the BBC's Nest Box Challenge website. We'd like to hear from you if any birds settle into to their palatial new homes, so send us your photographs and you may even want to become one of our special Nest Box Champions who we'll keep in touch with regularly.
