How can I get involved? If you or someone you know has been inspired to create a piece of art - take a photo and send it to us - maybe you've done a painting or created a tapestry. Where the work of art is not yours, please obtain consent from the creator of the work before sending in your photo to us. We also want pictures of works of art which move you - this might be a statue, a stained glass window or an object found in a place of worship. The art doesn't necessarily have to be religious it could be a secular piece - for example the Angel of the North or a Henry Moore sculpture. Please don't take photos of other people's well known artworks if you don't have their consent - as we won't be able to accept these.

They realised that as British Muslims they were now being treated differently just because of their faith. They all have stories of suffering verbal or physical abuse at school. Working with professional artist, Mousumi De, the girls have created a series of art works which now appear on their website. The art project aims to show that not all Muslims are terrorists and that Islam is a religion of peace not war. last updated: 23/04/2008 at 13:00 SEE ALSOYou are in: Suffolk > Faith > Features > Be inspired by divine art |
