I was born in Willisham and have lived in Suffolk all my life although my family hail from the North – all 'Geordies' who give me a hard time as the only Southerner in the family! My “other” life involves writing and I joined the BBC initially as a volunteer for Suffolk Action. I progressed with the help of BBC Radio Suffolk to learn every aspect of radio production and began presenting at the weekends and then moved to cover the weekday shows and can be found regularly presenting the Dawnbreaker, the afternoon show and also the lunchtime show – when our regular presenters are taking a break.
I am blessed to be Mum to gorgeous twin daughters and in my spare time I sing vocals for Dakota Blues and we gig regularly in East Anglia.
