After a career in London he has returned to Leiston to live in the house designed and built by his artist father. Peter's career has included fashion photography, filming expeditions (he survived a volcano eruption in Ecuador), painting on glass, and portrait photography. His hobbies include sculpture and painting. Peter and his wife Bridget enjoy sailing on the Alde with Slaughden Sailing Club and plan to explore Suffolk's estuaries. Peter bought a digital consumer camera to take snaps but found the results when combined with an inkjet pigment ink printer so good that he started building up a collection of atmospheric landscapes and seascapes. ![]() Walberswick by Peter Chadwick The archival pigment ink with which he prints these pictures contains actual colour pigments - the same way as traditional oil paints do and the results are much better than ordinary prints, having a wonderful depth and subtle trueness of colour. Peter has a new website showing all his collection of Suffolk pictures and other pigment print subjects (including London, Thames bridges, Richmond, Putney, Chelsea, sailing, animals, birds and plants).
