Information » Award-winning theatre in south Staffordshire opened its doors to the general public on July 1st 2003. (See article about the opening programme)
Costing £5.5 million, the theatre was named after one of Lichfield's favourite sons - the famous 18th century actor David Garrick.
The ecologically-friendly theatre even incorporates a unique ventilation system which uses natural ventilation instead of mechanical devices to help lower CO2 emissions.
Gallery space » Under the care of curator Katherine Waters the theatre is also giving a chance to artists Alan Scholes, from Nantwich, put up one of his famous 3D perspective drawings (right) for the These Four Walls exhibition in March 2004.

Young people are especially welcome to exhibit. Pupils of Chasetown High School and the Friary Grange High School contributed work to the Male Identity show in 2004. (see right).
