| Rob sings in French & Spanish QUESTION | I have a couple of unique to Canada Rob songs that you may want to check out. The first is a French version of Supreme, you know with an accent over the first "e". I find it to be a very skillful adaptation, as it does not stray too far from the English lyrics. Rob'! s French accent is very good as well, especially near the end of the song. I love the empowering French chorus, which goes "Quand L'amour n'est plus la/que te reste-t-il pour suivivre ici-bas/donne le meilleur de toi-meme/et tu trouveras l'amour supreme". I apologize for not including the appropriate accents,I just don't know how to make my computer do them, which is why I avoid posting in French altogether.
Anyway, the second song is a beautiful and poignant Spanish version of Better Man called Ser Mejor, which begins as follows: "Llename la vida/dame tranquilidad/calma el temporal/que hay en mi piel/dame primaveras/para disfrutar/dias que se van/no han de volver/puede ser que la voz/de tu paz y el amor/me ayuden a cambiar/y me hagan se mejor..." | "saint and whore" ANSWERS | I think that Rob is discussing himself in the lines of Come Undone. He summarizes many of his own dichotomies, like the saint/whore one you listed, or the indecisive/adamant. As far as I know, by "I'm your son", he refers that he is a son of Britain, and that Britain (rather than his mother) should forgive him for all the times he's publicly "come undone". sara vancouver , canada
In the song come undone he is talking about the period in his life whith drughs and alcohol addiction. So, at least through my point of view with the sentence "I'm your son" he refers to God. He knows he had a corrupted way of living but to God's eyes all of us are his sons, and whatever we do he will forgive us. Is similar to his new song "Make me pure" when he says: "I stopped praying So I hope this song will do I wrote it all for you I'm not perfect but you don't mind that, do you? I have read that Angels is shot on the beach of the netherlands. This is a long beach along the hole coast line. The video is shot in the south just above the entrence canal into rotterdam. The beach is here extremely wide and the only beach that is completely free. Only here you can drive a motor without permission. Making sandstonesculpures was very popular in those days and you could visit them, i bet they hired one of those artist for the circle. It is made of sand and chalk and water so it holds for a longer time.

the sexed up song is about his relationship with nichole... it's the "b" side of no regrets and at the time he made that song, they were under their split... i believe that split, and the thought of that he wasn't supposed to be a dad afterall did hurt him...*i feel bad for him* odaaah;)

Monsoon is not just a word and Robbie certainly does not invent that word. Monsoon is a seasonal prevailing wind in India and Southeast Asia during May to September, (wet monsoon) bringing rain to the region and dry monsoon between October to March.
Mushrooms and monsoon are associated with one another although they might not mean anything to him or everyone else outside our region. Wild mushrooms (or we call it molehill mushrooms) always come up a lot during wet monsoon season (as it is now since we are having a monsoon season). "Kill Me or Cure Me" could very well be the song I was asking about, so thank you once again for the lyrics.As well, I am absolutely positive in my statement that there is a video as I saw a ten-second clip of it on some Canadian show that was spotlighting Rob's tattoos. From the ten seconds that I saw, I can say that Rob looks very much like he does on his Sing When You're Winning album sleeve, by that I mean paler and less tattooed than he is now. He is also singing positioned back to back against another man with dark, shoulder-length hair, and laying down on a hardwood floor near a lamp. The colour scheme is primarily orange. | |
