This is a picture of what we locals call 'The Duck pond', which is to the right of the bridge at the Wedgwood Pools in Barlaston looking down to the factory
In the day time it looks like a bog, but after waiting approximately one hour in the sunset I noticed what you described as the 'golden hour'.
