Odd StaffordshireYou are in: Stoke & Staffordshire > Discover Staffordshire > Local Life > Odd Staffordshire > Ghost-hunting at Tutbury Castle ![]() Ghost-hunting at Tutbury CastleDuring the summer solstice wekend, BBC radio presenter Den Siegertsz and friends went on a ghost hunting vigil at Tutbury Castle in East Staffordshire - meeting the 'Most Haunted' programme along the way Who you gonna call ?Probably not Den when it come to ghost hunting ! ![]() Johnnie Fiori World's Longest Public Ghost HuntIt was all part of a special event, the 'World's Longest Public Ghost Hunt' which is to raise money for charity; and a number of TV mediums including Johnnie Fiori (Living TV's 'Living with the Dead'), Barrie John ('Most Haunted') and the castle's curator, and history expert for TV's 'Most Haunted' programme, Lesley Smith also took part. Most famous of all the spectres reportedly haunting the castle is Mary Queen of Scots. She suffered much at Tutbury and was at the Castle as a captive of Elizabeth I on four occasions. Another is a small girl named Ellie.
