Our reporter Alice Gregr went to Haywood High School - just one of the many local schools that took part. BBC School Report encourages students across the UK to report on the issues and news that matters to them. Over 500 schools took part in the day and they all did different things to mark the day. Haywood High and Engineering College in Burslem combined School Report Day with their annual Human Rights Day on Wednesday 25th March. I spent a few hours with these pupils compiling reports of the news they thought was important to them... Help playing audio/video Mitchell, a student at Haywood High, was also chosen to appear on Midlands Today for the BBC's School Report. His teacher Russell Hawley told me that he had a fantastic day and that Midlands Today even received an e-mail from a viewer complimenting Mitchell on his reports. last updated: 27/03/2009 at 13:39 SEE ALSOYou are in: Stoke & Staffordshire > School Report > 2009 > BBC School Report @ Haywood High |
