Rode Heath is a small village close to Alsager, with the Trent and Mersey Canal running right through it.

Strange Fact about Rode Heath

Rode Heath is home to Rode Hall.. built in 1705 and significantly expanded in 1752, Rode Hall is a comfortable, red brick country house bounded by a Humphrey Repton park and lake. In the early 19th century John Hope altered the interior to give a Regency feel to the entrance hall and other principal rooms, while Lewis Wyatt extended the dining room with a ribbed ceiling after Hope's death.
