In February 2008 BBC Stoke's Knit and Natter group was launched and since then it's been a huge success.

Every fortnight the group meets at BBC Stoke to talk about their knitting projects, to get advice and to generally have a good old natter over a cup of coffee. Those who started as beginners are now fully fledged knitters!

The first birthday was celebrated in style with two, yes two, homemade birthday cakes, biscuits and chocolates that each group member bought in. They will also be going out for a meal to celebrate.

New members are constantly joining the group and it's continually growing, but there's always room for more! Weather you're a knitting expert or a knitting novice you are welcome to come and join BBC Stoke's knitting group. The group have lots of tips and advice and you can even find some knew knitting patterns to try!

It’s your chance to meet new people, share your knitting tips and have a good chin wag.
If you haven't the first idea of how to knit, it doesn't matter cus you can learn everything you need to know from the rest of the group. What better way to start a new hobby? The group have already got new knitters hooked and you are welcome to come and join in!

The group meets fortnightly, 6pm - 8pm.
