Jan said: "It's his birthday and he's given himself a lovely gift of addressing his problem. I'm really, really proud of him. It's not an easy thing to do but he's now doing it.

"He's a very public figure and of course all the media attention at the moment, you know is added pressure or him. I shall be sending him loads and loads of love and as always, I always have done given him a lot of loving support. So for me it's a gift too that he's addressed this."
