Jazmine

Jazmine on shops

Jazmine is 15 and Afro Caribbean. She talks in her story about the way she feels stereotyped, particularly when she's in shops - Listen to her story here...

"People seem to think that just because I've got colour in my skin, that means I'm trouble."

Jazmine is 15, and says being African-Caribbean means people can jump to conclusions about her, particularly in shops.

She's also tired of the 'gangs and guns' black stereotype she sees in films and on TV.
