On that date, however, she will be in Lancashire showing her daughter and son-in-law where to scatter her ashes. We, her neighbours, are throwing her a "surprise" party on April 1st, from 2.30 p.m. onwards. A dear friend (who is utterly fixated) suggested/insisted I slow down, sit (horror!) quietly & listen with my heart as well as ears. I was amazed! The albumn she lent me was Greatest Hits. Within that one albumn I laughed, cried, yelled, curled in a ball. The one thing I could not do was sit still!!!!! I had to move - the music made me do it! It has always been obvious to me that most of the work - the writing, the melodies, the lyrics over the years have come from Rob - its obvious when you see him from time to time in the studio and generally overall that he is a very intelligent, talented and sharp young man. Although he works with alot of great people overall it is he who gives the most to his career on & off stage. I would recommed to Rob or to his record company people to release an album of all of these mostly unheard Robbie tracks - they are excellent and show how diverse and talented Robbie is. You have to got to respect him and respect the fact that he goes through the songwriting process and delivers some exceptional end products for the listner.
