AUDITIONS for ALICE IN WONDERLAND on Sunday 18th April 12.15 (registration) until 5.00pm at The George Hotel, Burslem. For all you kids posting comments saying you want to be an actor or actress, this isn't the place to advertise yourself, I recommend a site called starnow.co.uk I found it a good site to find local auditions and it helped me gets jobs in america, so look on sites like that and don't advertise yourself on here, also a good thing to do is to get an agent, my agents really good and they have got me auditions within disney and these are hard to come across without an agent. I am currently studying at College in Fne Art, Media, Drama and Theatre and English Literature and Language, I want to be an actress but I do not have an agent and find it very dificult to come across any auditions in TV and Film, any advice?

Be a FULL TIME performer
The National Brewery Centre, Burton upon Trent, is calling on local performers to contact them in its search to assemble the new team for the revitalised visitor centre and museum opening in April 2010.
'Live' performers, staying 'in character' and being appropriately dressed in relevant period costume, will enact key roles, such as head brewer whilst interacting with visitors. We are looking to recruit a team of 5-6 people to work here full-time."Interested applicants will need to have good people skills and some experience of performing in public, whether that be in amateur dramatics, at college or in a pub or club, for example".
The company is inviting anyone (aged 18 or over) who is interested to write in, explaining why they would be suited for a role at the new centre.Shortlisted applicants will be invited to come along to meet the team and demonstrate their talent.Applications can be sent for the attention of Dave Ismay at the National Brewery Centre. South Staffordshire NEEDS bands
South Staffordshire Council is urging bands to come forward for the chance to play at their ‘Concerts in the Park’ programme, which are being planned for this summer.The annual Concert Series was expanded last year and will be running in the same format this year. The Council is asking for bands of all different genres to come forward and submit an ‘Expressions of interest’ form to perform at the events.Concerts will be performed on the Bandstand at Baggeridge Country Park, throughout weekends in July and August. I love singing. When I sing I feel elated and nothing else makes me feel so free. When I sing, I want to make others happy. I look up to people like Beyonce, not only for her amazing vocals, but the feeling I get when I see her perform. Many have said I am a BRILLIANT singer and that I could "win the X Factor." They also say my voice is strong and loud and mature.I think singing is one of the best ways to show your emotions.

lokk if you want to go to auditions there is only one way to do look through these pages, look on each groups web site or in the papers. there is no need to advertise yourselves on here no one will will come looking for you. its up to you to go looking for them. I know I am 12 years old and have been doing amateur since i was 6. And if you want to get into films you have to get a agent like me.Hope this helps
