Children in Need in Staffordshire - Events 2005

Children in Need has always seen many fund-raisers out and about doing very strange things... all for charity, folks! 2005 was no different...

Children in Need has raised over £300 million for disadvantaged children living in the UK since it started in 1980, and much of that has come from the generous folk of Staffordshire, doing all sorts of extraordinary things.

Wednesday November 16th

BBC "Midlands Today" is looking for schools to take part in a massive “Round The Region Rally” on Wednesday 16th November!
All you need to do is let the Midlands Today team know what you’re doing for Children in Need, and they might drop in on your event. You could be holding a fancy dress event, a sponsored silence, a cake sale or you may be holding a huge party - there are endless ways of having fun and fundraising.
You’ll be filmed doing your fundraising activities and you’ll get the chance to meet Olympic Gold Medallist Denise Lewis and Midlands celebrity Ashley Blake – and - of course Pudsey Bear!
