All-round athlete Non Evans is aiming to represent Wales at another sport after taking up wrestling.
She won the under-59kgs class at the Welsh National Championships on Sunday and wants to claim a Commonwealth spot.
The 35-year-old is Wales' record points scorer in women's rugby union and has competed internationally at judo.
At the 2002 Commonwealth Games Evans became the first ever female to compete at two separate sports by entering the weightlifting and judo competitions.
But now Evans, who will play for Wales in the Women's Rugby World Cup this summer, has set her sights on a second Commonwealth Games and a place in the Wales wrestling team at Delhi 2010.
"Women's wrestling is in the Commonwealth Games for the first time this year, in Delhi in October, so that's my first goal," said Evans, who has won 84 Wales rugby union caps.
"Before that I had to win the Welsh Championship, which I've done in the under-59kgs.
Women's wrestling is also in the 2012 Olympics so that's a long-term ambition

"I then have to finish in the top four in the Irish [Northern Ireland] Open next weekend [24 April], and the top four in the English Championships in May.
"If I do that I'll qualify for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi, but women's wrestling is also in the 2012 Olympics so that's a long-term ambition if I stay fit and well."
Evans proved her calibre at judo as she won two silver medals at the Judo Commonwealth Championships in 1992 and 1996.
But unfortunately the sport was not a part of the Commonwealth Games during her peak and was only reintroduced to the Games in 2002 in Manchester after a 12-year absence.
Evans finished seventh in the judo in the 2002 Games in the under-57kgs category and ninth in the weightlifting, where she was forced to compete in the under-63kgs category because of a scheduling clash with the judo.
