![]() | Wednesday, 21 November, 2001, 13:59 GMT Davies leads 'A' team ![]() Davies impressed in the game against Tonga last week Pontypridd hooker Mefin Davies will captain Wales 'A' against Uruguay at Cardiff Arms Park on Saturday. He becomes the third 'A' team captain in as many games. Davies takes over the captaincy from Andy Marinos, who has been promoted to the senior Wales replacements bench after leading the 'A' team to victory over Tonga last week. Neath wing Shane Williams returns to international duty after recovering from injury, as does Swansea full-back Gavin Henson. Jon Pritchard takes over Marinos' role at centre, while Williams replaces Ben Breeze and Henson comes in for Barrie Davies. Martyn Madden returns at loose head prop in place of Duncan Jones, while Ebbw Vale's Neil Edwards plays at lock with Chris Stephens and Robert Sidoli both out injured. Nathan Bonner-Evans wins his first representative cap as he takes over the number eight spot from injured Newport youngster Andrew Powell.
