 Toseland is a contender for Sports Personality of the Year |
World Superbike champion James Toseland has been named 2007 BBC Yorkshire Sports Personality of the Year. The 27-year-old won the Superbike crown for the second time in October and was presented with his BBC award at a ceremony in Barnsley on Sunday.
BBC Look North presenter Harry Gration said: "James was up against some real competition. This is his second award, a fantastic tribute to his appeal."
Ex-cricketer Geoffrey Boycott was presented with the Hall of Fame trophy.
