Beckham is backing Sport Relief |
David Beckham has taken time out from the World Cup to encourage England fans to sign up for Sport Relief. "Please sign up, get sponsored and take part in the Sport Relief Mile on Saturday 15 July," said the England captain.
There are 15 national Sport Relief miles across the UK and loads of local ones, so there should be one near you.
Anyone can complete a mile - you don't have to be fit and you can choose to do it in any way you want.
It doesn't matter if you hop, skip or jump the mile, as long as you do it.

All you have to do to enter the Sport Relief Mile is go to the website and sign up.
You will then be sent a pack which contains all the details, and your first red sock.
Once you have completed the mile you get your second sock to show you have helped sock it to poverty.
So please sign up now and go the extra mile for Sport Relief.
