In this Inside Sport Special, US Olympic icon Michael Johnson takes a look at the phenomenon that is the Super Bowl.

This annual fixture is the finale of the NFL season and commands the biggest TV audience in America. In excess of 100million people watch the game; It's a mixture of top-class sporting action and showbiz razzmatazz means it is always a dazzling spectacle.

As well as capturing all the excitement of the build-up to Super Bowl XLV, Johnson, a proud Texan, revels in a tour of this year's venue which just happens to be the largest domed structure in the world .

Johnson talks to legends of the sport, as well as British American Football fans like England's Rugby Team Manager Martin Johnson and television presenters Vernon Kay and Dermot O'Leary.

He also samples first hand the Super Bowl itself and brings his own unique insight into what many people call the biggest show on earth.
