Cycling - World Road Race
The afternoon begins with coverage of the cycling's World Road Race Championships in Salzburg, with British star Nicole Cooke going for gold in the time trials.
Twenty-three-year-old Cooke has won nearly all the time trials she's raced in so far this year, including a victory over the current world TT champion Karin Thurig of Switzerland.
Horse racing - Ascot
Grandstand comes from Ascot with live coverage from the Ascot Festival, featuring the Group One Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, worth �250,000.
It's now ten years since Frankie Dettori's 'magnificent seven' which saw him win every race on the card, one of many famous moments in this meeting's rich history.
