 | Murray has the game to be a top 10 player - there's no doubt about that |
This weekend we're in Switzerland for one of my favourite events in the tennis calendar - the Davis Cup.
Nothing compares with representing your country, especially in tennis where for most of the year you're playing for number one.
I may have won the French Open, but my greatest memories in tennis were playing in and winning the Whiteman Cup for Britain against the USA.
Given the meteoric rise of Andrew Murray it is a pity that Tim Henman is no longer in the team - with those two and Greg Rusedski we'd have a real chance of doing well in the world group.
That said, I understand why he decided to call it a day, and Murray will definitely ensure that we remain competitive.
Sometimes I still can't believe he's only 18 - he's so mature for his age and he can only get better in the coming years.

I don't like heaping pressure on players, but I'm going to anyway! Murray has the game to be a top 10 player - there's no doubt about that.
One player he can learn from though is Switzerland's Roger Federer, who will probably go down as the greatest player ever to have picked up a tennis racket.
There seems no end to his talents, although I'm not sure he will be delighted to be playing on clay at home.
The Swiss chose the surface back in April, long before Andy Murray arrived, and they must be regretting that now considering it's Murray's preferred surface.
The odds are stacked in the home team's favour, but come Sunday we could have a Federer-Murray contest to settle the tie.
Roger may be world number one, but given Andy's year so far, anything could happen.
Enjoy your weekend, and keep your fingers crossed!
