![]() | Question of Sport ![]() O'Sullivan celebrates his world title with girlfriend Bianca Monday 14 May 1900BST Click here for the Question of Sport site Sue, Ally and John are joined this week by Ronnie O'Sullivan, Carl Fogarty, Tony McCoy and Neil Lennon. World Snooker champion "Rocket" Ronnie O'Sullivan is widely considered as the most natural talent to have ever graced the green baize. The Chigwell cueman turned professional in 1992 and has never looked back since. He was a beaten semi-finalist in 1998, losing to John Higgins, and then in 1999 to Stephen Hendry. But this year, there was no holding back the Rocket, beating former champion John Higgins 18-14 to realise his lifetime's ambition. Carl Fogarty was to World Superbike racing what Mohammed Ali was to boxing - the greatest. Blackburn's finest won no less than four world championships and four Isle of Man races, to name but a few of his remarkable achievements. The 35-year-old sustained a serious injury following a horrific crash in the Australian round of the World Superbike Championship in 2000. He failed to fully recover from that setback and is now helping the BBC with its coverage and working on another book following the huge success of his autobiography. Tony McCoy is the undisputed king of jump jockeys. The Irishman has taken a grip on the sport, clocking up five consecutive riders' titles. His partnership with Martin Pipe has seen two like minds chasing glory together. In the 1997-8 campaign, McCoy shattered Peter Scudamore's previous record of 221 wins in a season by clocking up a total of 253. The prize of winning the Grand National still eludes him, but McCoy will no doubt continue to strive towards that goal. Celtic's rock Neil Lennon completes the line-up. The Northern Ireland star signed for the Bhoys early this season and helped guide Martin O'Neill's men to the Scottish Premier title. Lennon was part of O'Neill's tight nucleus of players at Leicester and helped the Midlands side win the Worthington Cup. Lennon is also set to embark on a Champions League campaign with the Glasgow side - who's to say that more success will not follow. | |||
