Men's round-upSecond seed Andre Agassi romped into the third round with a 6-3 7-6 6-3 win over Lars Burgsmuller.
The 1992 champion needed just 1 hr 50 mins to see off his opponent on Court One.
Agassi off to a flying start, breaking the 88th-ranked German in the first game.
Burgsmueller struggled to find his rhythm and achieved only 38% success on his serve in the first set, which the American won in 34 minutes with a blistering cross-court pass.
Burgsmueller put in a dogged performance in the second but ran out of steam in the tiebreak and lost it 7-4, before Agassi finished off with an emphatic smash on his second match point.

The American now goes on to meet 27th seed Younes El Aynaoui of Morocco in the third round.
El Aynaoui defeated Chilean Nicolas Massu 7-6 (7/5) 3-6 7-6 (7/4) 6-4.
But Agassi is taking nothing for granted.
"He gives me problems every time," Agassi said of El Aynaoui.
"He's a very talented player. It'll be a good opportunity to see his game on grass."
"I'm doing what I need to do - as the tournament goes on everybody needs to pick it up."
Argentine David Nalbandian made short work of Andre Sa to move closer to a potential fourth-round showdown with Tim Henman.
Nalbandian, last year's finalist, moved into the third round with a 6-2 7-5 6-2 victory over his Brazilian opponent.
Sa reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon last year but his lack of progress since then is in marked contrast to that of Nalbandian, who is now ranked in the world's top 10.
The 21-year-old Argentine served erratically - he was broken four times - but his piercing groundstrokes were too good for Sa.
Henman's third round opponent will be Sweden's Robin Soderling, who beat Belgium's Gilles Elseneer 2-6 7-6 (10/8) 6-4 6-3.
Czech player Jiri Novak, seeded 11, enjoyed a straightforward 6-2 7-5 6-3 win over Spain's David Ferrer.
Number three seed Juan Carlos Ferrero joined Novak in the third round, beating Frenchman Nicolas Escude who was forced to retire hurt.
France's Sebastien Grosjean, seeded 13, defeated the big-serving Australian Wayne Arthurs 6-3 6-4 6-7 6-3.
Another Australian, Mark Philippoussis, eased through 6-3 6-2 7-6 against France's Cyril Saulnier.
