Former world number one Justine Henin says winning Wimbledon will be one of her main targets when she returns to competitive tennis next year.

The 27-year-old retired in May 2008 after winning seven Grand Slam titles but will make her comeback in January.

"It is another Justine Henin who will try and go out and achieve her dream of finally winning Wimbledon," she said.

"I don't know if it's possible but that makes it an even more passionate challenge for me."

In the first section of her career, the Belgian twice reached the Wimbledon final, losing to Venus Williams in 2001 and Amelie Mauresmo in 2006.

Henin beat world number 12 Flavia Pennetta in an exhibition tournament in Belgium on Sunday, which will have boosted her confidence ahead of her competitive return next month at a tournament in Brisbane, just before appearing at the Australian Open.

"To be honest, I don't have any big expectations as regards results in Australia," she said.

"But I will be delighted just to return to the country again, I love it there, and to the official circuit.

"I've never regretted my decision to stop playing but now I'm really excited about the prospect of starting a second career that probably won't look anything like the first, at least in my mind."
