Top seed Dinara Safina was in dominant form as she overcame Belgian Kirsten Flipkens 7-5 6-1 to cruise into the fourth round at Wimbledon. The Russian, 23, held her nerve in a tight opening set and as the unseeded Flipkens waned under pressure, Safina cranked up the power to secure victory. The 13th seed Ana Ivanovic swept aside Samantha Stosur, while Caroline Wozniacki beat Anabel Medina Garrigues. Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska, ranked 11, saw off China's Na Li in two sets. Safina, three times a Grand Slam runner-up but still without a title, had to battle for everything in the opening exchanges but slowly started to dictate proceedings against the world number 110. Flipkens wasted her only set point at 5-4 in the first and it was a costly miss as Safina broke in the 11th game and served out to grab the opening set. As the clouds threatened above Court Two, Safina turned on the style and raced away in the second set to wrap up a convincing win. Serbia's Ivanovic, 13th seed, has been inconsistent in this year's event - surviving a match point in round one, but she sharpened her game against Australian 18th seed Stosur. The 21-year-old broke in the first game of the match and, although Stosur fought back in the eighth, Ivanovic hung on to take the opener. She coasted through the second to set up a clash with Venus Williams. Ivanovic, who will face the five-time Wimbledon champion on Monday, said: "I feel my game has improved and my serve has improved. "My game is probably even better than it was when I was number one. I went through a lot over the past year, being number one, having some disappointing losses and some tough times. "That made me stronger and made me appreciate some things, not take every match you win for granted, but just appreciate the hard work that was put in." Ninth seed Wozniacki easily beat Medina Garrigues, ranked 20 in the world, 6-2 6-2 and will play German Sabile Lisicki, conqueror of fifth seed Svetlana Kuznetsova. Radwanska saw off 19th seed Li 6-4 7-5 to set up a clash with Melanie Oudin, the American 17-year-old qualifier who knocked out sixth seed Jelena Jankovic. Highlights - Ivanovic sinks Stosur
