BBC Sport has extended its deal to screen the Aegon Championships at the Queen's Club until 2013. The event was formerly known as the Stella Artois Championships and the BBC started screening it in 1979. Lawn Tennis Association chief executive Roger Draper said: "We are delighted to be working with the BBC at the Aegon Championships until at least 2013." The tournament is available on BBC 1 and BBC 2, the red button, the BBC Sport website and BBC Radio 5 Live. Head of TV Sport at the BBC, Philip Bernie, said: "The BBC is delighted to be continuing its long and fruitful relationship with this great tennis championships. "We look forward to showcasing the highest quality tennis played out against the wonderful, distinctive backdrop of the Queen's Club." The LTA has also signed five-year extensions with Eurosport and television distributor IEC in Sports to cover all Aegon British Tennis Series events, including the Aegon Championships.
