Federer missed out on the Wimbledon title this year

"It was one of my goals coming into this season, next to trying to win Wimbledon. I missed that one. Oh well..."
One out of two ain't bad for Olympic doubles champion Roger Federer.

"I never felt terrible, to be honest. Because every time maybe things weren't looking that great, either I was in the final of a Slam or I was able to win a tournament, like in Estoril or in Halle.
Federer puts his 'slump' in perspective.

"You guys are brutal. Absolutely brutal. The guy has only made two Grand Slam finals this year. I would love his bad year. I would love it."
Andy Roddick chips in with his view of Federer's 'bad' year.

"That's a good question. I don't know."
Gilles Muller is asked why he has started winning matches again after a spell in the doldrums.

"I don't want to focus on having a record in Luxembourg, because there's not many players in front of you. I'm the first one actually to do everything. I mean, that's not my goal, to be the best in Luxembourg."
Muller makes history for Luxembourg almost every time he steps on court.

"I'm the kind of girl who likes to have fun. I like to joke around, I like to laugh a lot, and probably if you would go in the restaurant, I'm always probably the loudest one."
Jelena Jankovic is the WTA Tour's party animal.

"My mum told me that I am losing a little bit of weight. I'm actually not losing weight, I'm just getting firmer, you know?"
Jankovic sets her mum straight.
