C'est tout - after DLR goes for broke at 15-40, 2-5, 1-6 (memo to DLR - you might have left it a touch late) Ana seals the deal when an eyes-shut forehand sails into the tram-lines. Just under an hour, that took - Serb hero no.2 up next.

Pegged at deuce, DLR teeters - double-faulting weakly and then being pushed out wide by Ana to leave the court free for a top-spin volley winner. We're on the brink.

Ana bounds out, wearing a traditional strappy white dress and white sun-visor and with her long pony-tail bouncing behind her. DLR is derailed by a lucky Ana net-cord at deuce and a raking two-hand backhand that follows.

1442: Barely have Fed and Hrbaty left Centre Court than Ana and Rossana are with us. The rush that had started to the gents grinds to a sudden halt. Ana to serve first.
